School Finance: Email your Representatives

We seem to be in a constant cycle of the courts ruling our system of school finance unconstitutional, and our children can’t afford to wait for yet another round until a solution is put in place.  Many lawmakers and state leaders have indicated that they plan to wait for a ruling from the Supreme Court before addressing the issue of school funding, but the fact of the matter is—they don’t have to wait.

You can send a message to your legislators by clicking the link below--urging them to fix the system now.  You can also help by communicating this message to family and friends in your community so they can join the effort as well.  We can make an even larger impact if even more people are involved, so please share our website and message with others.

The success of Texas students is in large part due to the educators in this great state, and Texans are being given the opportunity to recognize their own educators!  Anyone can recognize a teacher, librarian, principal or superintendent. The goal is to recognize at least 100,000 Texas educators by the end of this school year.
