Scholarships

Council Scholarships

The GCISD Council of PTAs will offer four $1000 scholarships, two to graduating students from Grapevine High School and two to graduating students from Colleyville Heritage High School. To be eligible to receive a scholarship, you must meet all of the following requirements:
  1. You must be a graduating high school student.
  2. You must have attended GHS or CHHS for your senior year.
  3. You must have been a student member of the PTSA at your campus by October 31 of your senior year. Please attach a copy of your current PTSA Membership Card.
  4. The scholarship must be used for the purpose of study at an accredited college, university,or vocational school.
  5. Applications must be returned to the high school counselor’s office by deadline stated on the application (current year: 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, March 30, 2012). Late applications will not be considered.




Texas PTA Scholarships

Texas PTA offers $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Texas who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university or a technical institute in the summer or fall semester immediately following his/her high school graduation. Funds for the scholarships come from gifts to the Texas PTA Endowment Fund. Texas PTA will provide funding each academic year for scholarships in an amount of 1000.00 each.  For more information, visit the Texas PTA Scholarships page.

Texas PTA offers these scholarships to support students who are focused on achieving career goals through higher education. In evaluating each application, the scholarship committee will also consider service and participation in school activities, community involvement and scholastic merit.
